Affiliate Marketing is the most popular way to promote someone elses, or your own, product or service. People are paid whenever something is sold in this format. So if you sell an information product, and you were working with affiliates, you would pay them to deliver sales to you…sounds awesome right?

This form of marketing is one of the newest/ most popular forms of income and has helped many people create an income from the comfort of their home. The main objective is to get someone to buy or submit a specific action and you will get paid by the “advertiser” or “vendor” who is supplying the information or service. If you get involved with this, you’ll see how there is so much potential in this industry because the money that you will be capable of making with even just 1 sale is insane compared to traditional marketing methods.

There are three ways that you will be able to compensate or be compensated.

#1: CPC (Cost Per Click) – This is a relatively popular way to market products, in which you get paid very little JUST to drive clicks to certain offer. I wouldn’t suggest starting with this method because you wouldn’t have to drive certain types of traffic, and it limits your niche ability.

#2: CPS or Cost-Per-Sale – This is the #1 way in which all programs are marketed. The industry for Cost Per Sale advertiser grows every 10 seconds and is making a TON of people loads of money. Often times, Affiliate marketers make more selling products than big time CEO’s make. This is no joke, and I would highly suggest taking this course when marketing or looking to have others market your products.

#3: CPL (Cost Per Lead) – Now, a lead can be anything but mostly refers to the acquisition of a potential clients information. Whether that’s their Zip code, cell phone number, name, email address…the list goes on and on honestly. I think this is the best way to get started, you get great payouts often times (if you are in the right CPA Network) and this ads up quickly and relatively easily.

Learn Internet Marketing: The Truth Behind Affiliate Sales

I have been an entrepreneur for many years, but my greatest success has come since learning internet marketing. In the time I have been working my internet business, I have found the quickest way to make money is through affiliate sales.

The process, although intuitive, can be even easier if you follow five simple keys. From my experience, you can begin this week and see income from this one activity, giving you the ability to afford domain names and outsourcing help. Specifically, you can afford to get help with your email, article marketing, and webinar setup.

There are five keys to affiliate sales, and the first key is to find something to recommend. It should be something inexpensive that you can comfortably recommend to others. You don’t want to recommend a big ticket item right away, but instead start out small and build up to it. You want your list to trust you and rely on your recommendations. Look at the sales page for that product, and you will be able to tell whether or not it is appealing.

The second key is to figure out which benefits are most important. What I mean by this is what problems are your readers trying to solve and how would their lives improve if this problem were solved. This where I like to look at the conversations in the niche-related sites. I go to forums and even social networking sites to figure out the answer. Doing this little bit of research almost always results in greater sales.

The third key is to write out a recommendation for the product. When you do, you will want to include the following ideas: what does it do, how will it benefit your reader, how will it measure up to other products, why do you like it, is there anything you do not like about it, and what is your overall opinion? Once you have written your review, you can post it to your blog or website. The most essential element is the affiliate link; be sure you have it in your review so that you can drive traffic there.

The fourth key is to spread the word about your recommendation. Again, your blog or website is important. If you do not have a blog, I recommend WordPress or blogger. You can also send an email to the contacts in your personal or business account. They will be interested to hear about your recommendation.

The last key to affiliate sales is to utilize search engine optimization (SEO). You want to use the keywords in your recommendation that people are actually entering into Google. These will be “buyer” keywords, not just general keywords. Using the “buyer” keywords will boost your post and get your more traffic and eventually more sales.

Without a doubt, affiliate sales can be a quick way to begin earning money. If you work diligently on these steps, you will see cash flow this week.
